| WHO we are & what we do....
The Center for
Family Development is dedicated to providing prevention and support
services for children and families.
The Center was envisioned by our Executive Director in 1995 when our
Healthy Families program began serving families at the birth of their
first baby. In 1997, Children First began teaching children conflict
resolution skills both in schools and homes. Other programs have been
added as funding sources became available. The Center for Family
Development launched its first official year in January 1999. All of our
current programs are housed in our home on the East Side of the Square. |

A hundred years
from now
it will not matter what my bank
account was,
the sort of house I lived in,
or the kind of car I drove.
...but the world
may be different
because I
was important in the life of a child. |
